  • 3 weeks from late November to early December

  • Student age: 13-18 years old

  • No program cost

  • Hosted virtually

Purpose

  • foster passion for reading among adolescents

  • support aspiring young authors and poets

  • provide platform for the disenfranchised to voice their stories

Our Mentors

    • Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani is a Nigerian novelist and journalist who reported on police brutality and the #EndSARS movement, as well as the lasting legacy of slavery in Nigeria

    • Laura Jablonover is a high school junior from Massachusetts and the Editor-in-Chief of The Journalist Review

    • Risha Chaurasia is an Indian author of YA novels TRUCE and Tales of Twinkling Tweens

    • Lily Chu is the author of romantic novels The Stand-In, The Comeback, and The Takedown

    • Anniyah Rizvi is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Words With Weight

    • Yageen Faiz published her book Novel Writing Guide to help other writers, and turn it into an easier journey for others like her

    • Anshi Purohit is a teenage author of 2 books. She has been nominated for Best of the Net and recognized by Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

    • Nadia Bollinger is a high school writer from Washington State. She is previously published by Hugo House, Barnes & Noble, and Sonderful Writings
